When it comes to one thing all humans have in common that has never been changed or brought under human control, in spite of all the kooky, nutty ideas man comes up with, is Life and Death. You know how many people out of all humans that have ever lived, have died? ALL OF THEM! Every human being that has ever breathed has died, eventually. Granted there have been a few in the Scriptures that were taken by the Lord by Gods power (the exceptions prove the rule). But under human power, man simply CANNOT KEEP HIMSELF ALIVE and that is the facts. Study all you want, make all the science, go to the Moon and Mars, eat vegan, stop global warming, blabbady, blab, blab, blab! Humans Die! Nobody has ever successfully stopped death and according to the Scriptures , NEVER WILL! It is the Lord Himself that is going to put a final end to death, and then it will be no more. It is referred to in the Scriptures as the “last enemy.” 1 Corinthians 15:26 God himself does not like death. He is not willing that any should die. But SIN, has changed that. The Lord went to work on that a long time ago and took care of the death problem through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He came (God did) and took on flesh, was born of a virgin, lived 331/2 years on the earth and went to the cross at Calvary and was crucified, not for His sin, but for all humans who could not, and can not keep themselves alive. He shed His blood (Gods Blood), was buried, and 3 days later rose from the dead under His own power (something humans have been trying to do and have not succeeded, ever) and around 40 days after His Resurrection ascended under His own power back to Heaven where the Scriptures teach He is now. He did what we could and can not. He offers a swap to you and every human. His righteousness for your unrighteousness (sin). His for yours, and yours for His. He has prepared Salvation as a free gift. If you will believe the Scriptures and what they say, and act upon what you hear from them by faith (no proof, you believe because you choose to believe), the Lord will save you. That’s it! Now, can you stay alive on your own? Do you think you have enough life left to figure it out? Nobody else has yet? Do you want to live forever and have God’s promise He will follow through for you, and be sure of it? A person would be a FOOL (Proverbs 14:1) not to, right? The Lord did not make salvation a guessing game or a confusing puzzle. All He wants is sincerity and honesty from your heart about the matter and He’ll do the rest. You say, “Brother Thurman, how do I know it will work?” I’ll tell you this! The words I have placed below are the very words I heard 43 years ago and all I did was act upon what I heard and He saved me. You ask, “How do you know?” Because the wonderful change he began in me then is still in me today. He has kept His promise with me and has never let me down. I have tried to accuse Him of letting me down, but I knew better. He still abides. Friend, this is not a fake pitch to get your money. I don’t want anything from you except that you would receive eternal life from the Lord today. That’s all I can say. I could go on and on and gladly would try to convince you. But you have heard enough. I speak the truth. Why don’t you try it? The proof is in what the Lord has said right? If He is a liar it will show. Ask Him for eternal life and see for yourself. I hope that you will. I have left you the Lords words below. Read over them. Then try the Lord and ask Him to save you and watch what happens. The only way He would not is if you did not mean it, or He is a liar. He is not a liar, and He says that if you call upon him, “you mean it!” Read it for yourself. Romans 10:14
Dear friend, If you will trust God’s word and Believe on His Son Jesus Christ, GOD PROMISES to give you Eternal Life RIGHT NOW. Do you think you could believe God enough to trust His word? He say’s if you will, you WILL go to Heaven when you leave that body your living in. (Die)

Here’s how!
Admit in your heart to God that you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:2
2. Understand and Believe that there is a penalty for your sin.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
3. Understand that if you get what you deserve, God will put you in the Lake of Fire, and this, is not what God wants.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
4. Believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son died for you on purpose, was buried, and rose from the dead in three days as the Bible says He did.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
5. Pray to God, Confess Jesus Christ by faith and Call upon Him to save you.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9-13
If you mean business about this thing of staying alive, Jesus say’s He has the power to do it for you. You have read what His word says. Now, in your own words just bow your head and speak directly to the Lord from your heart and tell Him you have heard what His word says and you believe that Jesus died for your sins on purpose, was buried and rose from the dead the third day as the Scriptures have said. Then ask the Lord to save you like He said He would if you asked Him too, in Jesus’ name. Now, thank the Lord for saving you and giving you eternal life. Go ahead, Thank Him. He did what He said He would. He saved you. That is all it took. Now, look again at the verse you read beside number (5) above. Read it out loud. Did you call upon His name to save you? Did you mean it? Then according to Gods word, what did He just do? HE SAVED YOU! It’s all about what Jesus did and you believed Him and asked. Period. Read it again and again and again. God’s not going to change His mind. Your saved, Forever!
Friend, if you believed God’s word above, and you prayed to Him, and asked Him to save you, HE DID WHAT HE PROMISED HE WOULD DO. HE SAVED YOU! FOREVER! It was that simple. That is what Gods word “SAYS.” Congratulation’s, you are now a Christian in the family of God. Now what the Lord wants is for you to get into His word and around other Christians that believe what you have believed and learn and grow and wait on Him to return. Ps. Almost forgot! According to God’s word, you don’t have to worry about death anymore. You have put your trust in Christ and come to Him as He said. Your never going to die. Your body will go to the grave but you will not. You will go directly to be with the Lord when your body dies. That’s Gods promise to you. REST IN THAT! The Lord will not let you down. He will keep you alive. Read the verse again at the beginning of this page up top. That is what Jesus Christ has promised you personally for believing on Him. Now read the verse below. You never go to the grave. Only your body does. You go to be with the Lord! Thats what the word of God SAYS. You CAN TRUST IN THAT.
“Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
If you have trusted Christ, when your body dies, you go to be with the Lord immediately! Period! This is how anybody is going to STAY ALIVE! It’s the only way and the true way. Read what Jesus said up top again. Isn’t that what He said? Trust Him and rest!
“He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John 5:10-13
Warning… unless you come to God HIS WAY John 14:6, through HIS PRIEST Hebrews 3:1, IN THE MANNER HE PRESCRIBED Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6 you will split Hell wide open. Assurance can be a satanic assurance unless it is based on “what God said” in His word. 1 John 5:13; Judges 17:13 If you read the Scriptures above and trusted Christ from your own free will, then you trusted Christ according to “what God said in His word.” God already has and will continue to keep his promise to you to get you home to Heaven to be with Him. You do not have to worry about it because it is based on “what God said in His word.” Any other way will not be honored. Satan is a monotheist James 2:19 who believes in the Deity of Christ Luke 4:34. Are you going to trust him to shoot straight with you about what God said? You had better not. Genesis 3:1-7
